Hi! I'm Shannon. I have created this blog to help support 8th graders doing math in Williston Central School. All 8th graders in our school complete an 8th grade challenge that involves helping our community and increasing our own knowledge.
The blog will include; general resources for algebra, resources to help with specific assignments, a hosting site for conversations about specific topics and assignments in our 8th grade math class.

The test review we got in class today had a question similar to this: 2^4 x 6^3 or something like that. We never learned how to multiply with 2 different bases and exponents. What is the rule to find the single base answer for an equation like this?
